August 1st through the 7th is Farmers Market Week in Virginia. We are so grateful for the year-round contributions that the LOCAL farmers make to our community! We are thrilled to participate in celebrating Virginia Farmers – join us at the Thursday, August 5th Market in the Turner Pavilion in downtown Harrisonburg at 5pm for a cooking demonstration.
Chef Ryan Zale will be preparing a LOCAL blackberry vinaigrette, a caramelized LOCAL cantaloupe & prosciutto appetizer and LOCAL creamed corn. He’ll be sharing cooking tips during the demonstration – along with samples of course! After your market shopping and sampling, head North on Main Street and join us for dinner!
